A story is circulating on social media that says Rush Limbaugh will donate $10 million to Trump’s reelection campaign after his slow, painfully excruciating death from lung cancer. But is the claim true?
In order to investigate, we went to several liberal groups and checked with their fact-checkers, who all seem to say it’s false, meaning that it absolutely must be true. Therefore, we rate the claim as such.
We tried to reach out to the Rush Limbaugh show for comment, but their phone is going straight to voicemail with the following message:
“We’re awfully sorry, but we can’t come to the phone right now. Rush is busy making preparations for the end of his life. If you’d like to be considered for the Rush Limbaugh Memorial Scholarship to your local trade school or the criminal justice program from DeVry, please leave your name, phone number, and a brief message about why you think you qualify.
“As always, thank you for being loyal fans and God Bless you. Please join us in saying a prayer for Rush in hopes that he can be absolved of the sins he committed while high on opiates.”
The message definitely screams “This story is true!” What better way to atone for all the horrible lies you’ve spread through the years than giving $10 million to the only man on the planet in the same category.
