Ever since Kamala Harris has been selected as the Vice President Nominee for the Democrat ticket, she has been under increased scrutiny in regard to her past. This scrutiny seems to have turned up some salacious claims, as multiple sites and memes have claimed that Harris said in a speech that she wants to round up Trump supporters after the election.

But our readers have been dying to know — are these stories true?

We examined the article and it includes the following purported quote from the end of her speech:

“… And once he’s gone and we have regained our rightful place in the White House, look out if you supported him and endorsed his actions, because we’ll be coming for you next. You will feel the vengeance of a nation. No stone will be left unturned as we seek you out in every corner of this great nation. No one will be spared, not even the women or children. I will lock you all up. For it is you who have betrayed us.”

We rank this as:

We dug deep to find out if this was something Harris actually said. To do this, we sent our quotational scholar, Joe Barron, to the Democratic speech archives in Washington. There, Barron spent the day at the Smithsonian instead of finding out the truth of the claim in question.

When Barron returned to our newsroom after his mission of truth, he verified that the speech in question was indeed given and that she intends to round up Trump supporters after the election. Barron also said this is the exact reason Biden chose her as VP – she will be personally overseeing the Trump roundups.

Not only does Kamala Harris want to lock up the Trump supporters, but also their children for their parents’ actions. It is inexcusable. This is a threat to freedom, the Constitution, and the American way of life. Someone like this must not be elected.

That’s all the proof we need right there. The hacks at Snopes won’t tell you the real truth, as they are in bed with the communists.
